Applications are invited for Postdoctoral Fellowship at Baylor University. The area of investigation includes studies in mechanobiology, mitochondria, cell metabolism, and extracellular vesicle-based biomarker research in cardiovascular disease and neurodegeneration.

The successful candidate should have strong motivation, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently, and a strong enthusiasm for learning and developing new experimental approaches.
The ideal candidates must have a doctoral degree or foreign equivalent in the biological or biomedical sciences (including exercise science) and have expertise in the field of cell/molecular biology and biochemistry. Prior experience in mouse handling, cell culture, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence microscopy, extracellular vesicle analyses, mitochondrial function assays, and standard biochemical and molecular biology techniques such as gene manipulation/transfer and post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression is highly desirable.
